The 9th Consortium meeting of the HEIRRI project took place on the 22nd and 23rd June in Vienna (Austria). The gathering was hosted by the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS), who welcomed the rest of the project members to the magnificent Austrian capital city.
This 2-day meeting was a key moment to discuss important issues for the project, such as the Internationalisation Call for Scholarships, the teaching materials that are currently being developed following the training programmes and the coming pilots. These materials teach the concept of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) using inquiry-based learning methodologies and promoting a broad understanding of RRI as an approach that encourages reflection, transdisciplinarity and critical thinking.
Other issues that were discussed are the Exploitation potential of the project or the partnership with museums, together with the dissemination actions of HEIRRI, available at the calendar section of this blog, and the boosting of the Forum Online.
The first lines of the 2nd HEIRRI Conference were drawn as well. We are very excited to announce that it will take place in Vienna on the 27th April 2018 at the Aula der Wissenschaften. The evening reception will be celebrated at the emblematic Natural History Museum Wien, member of the HEIRRI partner Ecsite.
