The 7th Consortium meeting of the HEIRRI project took place on the 31st January and 1st February in Aarhus (Denmark). It was hosted by the Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy, from Aarhus University, who welcomed the rest of the project members.
During the 2 days of the gathering, the different HEIRRI partners discussed about the current status of the project, which has just concluded its 1st Reporting Period. The meeting focused on the training programs (for bachelor degrees, master degrees, PhD programmes, train the trainer, summer school and MOOC) that have already been designed by the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) and commented by the members of the Advisory boards and Consortium members. The consequent training materials are currently being developed by Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and will be piloted soon, starting this summer 2017 and up until April 2018.
The meeting was also fruitful to discuss about transversal issues such as the online forum, the internal evaluation and the imminent launch of an international call for proposals for Higher Education Institutions to test the HEIRRI training programs beyond Europe. The 2 best-evaluated applications of this call will receive a 2.000€ scholarship. Stay tuned through this blog and the GUNi website for the latest details and information on this call for proposals.
The increasing engagement in the Forum Online was celebrated: and it’s thanks to you! Please keep on following our tweets and questions, it is great to hear from you!
The next face-to-face PEC meeting will be hosted by the HEIRRI member from Austria, IHS, this coming summer. We are working to keep up the best development of HEIRRI!
