The 8th Annual Meeting of the Society for the Study of New and Emerging Technologies (S.Net) is organized by the Centre for the Study of the Sciences and the Humanities, University
of Bergen, from the 12th to the 14th October 2016. The conference seeks to continue reflections on themes of emerging technologies from previous S.Net conferences, this time with a special focus on politics.
HEIRRI will be present at the parallel session “RRI, education and public participation“, by the hand of Gema Revuelta and Núria Saladié, from the Science, Communication and Society Study Centre (Pompeu Fabra University). During the session, different questions related to RRI will be addressed, such as: ‘A better way of engaging? How Responsible Research and Innovation redefines participation in science and technology’ and ‘RRI, how would the public buy in?’, with Anja Bauer, Alexander Bogner, Daniela Fuchs and Ilse Marschalek.
