The PERFORM project is holding a conference at the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in Paris, France, from 14 to 15 June 2018.
The PERFORM Conference 2018 investigates how innovation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics education can be increased through performing arts, such as stand-up comedy, science busking and clowning among others whilst embedding Responsible Research and Innovation values.
HEIRRI will participate at the Conference by the hand of Marta Cayetano, communications officer at ACUP and GUNi (member of the HEIRRI Consortium). She will present the project in the panel session ‘Innovating STEM Education in Europe’ on the 14th June 2018. This session will present a European panorama of projects that are innovating the way we learn and teach Science and Technology in Europe. From the Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions and the training experiences for early career researchers to the projects who combine the paradigm of Responsible Research and Innovation with Science Education a wide panorama of experiences will be presented. HEIRRI will also be present in the poster session, which is open to researchers, teachers and communicators who want to share their experiences in the field of STEM education.
